Granny & Grandpa Skills-Fest at Migration Museum

Remarks

The Granny & Grandpa Skills-fest takes place at Migration Museum, 82 Kintore Avenue, Adelaide on August 28 from 11am-3pm. Full details here.

It is demonstrably true that we are fans of the older generations here at CityMag, so the upcoming Granny and Grandpa Skills-Fest is right up our alley.

Spearheaded by one of our favourites – Rebecca Sullivan – alongside Warndu, Natural Resources Adelaide and Mt Lofty Ranges and the Migration Museum, the event aims to share the heritage, culture, skills, knowledge and traditions of our elders.

It incorporates workshops, demonstrations, performances, kid’s activities, food and more for the whole family to enjoy and has a special guest – Costa from Gardening Australia.

We can only imagine how delightful the day will be, and how much our lives will improve with the new skills we gain that we can apply in the shed, gardening, kitchen and craft realms afterward.
