The Garden of Unearthly Delights Opening Night

  • Picture: Alex Pantazis

Late last year we introduced you to the woman in charge of orchestrating The Garden of Unearthly Delights’ physical presence in Kadlitpina Park, and the time has finally come to reap the rewards of her hard work.

Remarks

The Garden of Unearthly Delights opens at 6:30pm Thursday, 16 February until Sunday, 19 March.

For more information on shows and to purchase tickets, see the website.

At 6:30pm on Thursday, 16 February, the gates will open, the crowd will flood, and the revelry begins, with comedians, dance, theatre and circus performers, musicians and all people GOUD-inclined lingering until we’re all forced to leave a month later on closing night.

As much as The Garden is about the atmosphere between the venues, there will be plenty of tents to choose from, and if you must pick, why not make it Leo Sayer? Or for a blast from an even further past, explore the life of Edith Piaf with Exposing Edith.

See Djuki Mala for your fix of dance and physical performance, and for a lark check out Irish improvisational hip hop artist/comedian, Abandoman.

Or just grab a cob from CornStar, sit on a grassy knoll and watch the world go by – The Garden is your oyster.
