Adelaide Reclink Community Cup

After last year’s successful inaugural event, the Adelaide Reclink Community Cup is back again to pit Adelaide’s very own musicians and media identities (the Rockatoos and Anchors) against each other in a friendly, and highly unskilled charity football match.

Remarks

The Adelaide Reclink Community Cup takes place this Sunday, August 7 at Coopers Stadium in Norwood. Gates open 12pm, kick off is at 1pm. Full details here.

There is also a Pre-Game Party at The Grace Emily Hotel on Saturday night, featuring Tim Rogers and his Draught Dodgers, and an Official After Party at The Wheatsheaf Hotel.

Just like any footy match, there’ll be plenty of food about the place, free flowing beer and some wine. But unlike your average footy match there will also be live music from The Shaolin Afronauts and Slick Arnold, with all proceeds going directly to Reclink Australia.

Reclink Australia run art and sport programs to enhance the lives of those within the community who are marginalised and disadvantaged.

Official presentations and celebrations with the players, and an after-party for everyone else, will be held at the Wheatsheaf Hotel after the game concludes.
